Fun fact about Spoon’s 2014 song, “Inside Out.” A version of the song was mostly ready to go but Spoon band members, Jim Eno and Britt Daniel felt like it could still use a little extra something. To shake things up, they started experimenting by playing the song in the styles of other iconic artists and albums they loved. After they played a version of the song like Dr. Dre’s 1999 album, “2001,” they knew they had the song’s final sound. (Story heard on this episode Song Exploder)
